Understanding Our SLA and 99.9% Uptime Guarantee
At CoLi Link, we understand that for your business, downtime isn't just an inconvenience—it’s lost revenue. As a licensed ISP established in 2019, we stand behind our infrastructure with a professional Service Level Agreement (SLA).
1. What does "99.9% Uptime" actually mean?
Our 99.9% uptime guarantee means that your VPS, VDS, or Hosting service will be accessible via our network at least 99.9% of the time during any given month. This allows for less than 45 minutes of total unscheduled downtime per month—a standard we consistently beat.
2. How We Ensure High Availability
- Accra Flagship Hub: Our data center features redundant power systems (UPS and Generator) to ensure that regional power fluctuations do not affect your server.
- Direct Peering Backbone: By maintaining direct fiber links to Nigeria and South Africa, we ensure that even if one international subsea cable is cut, your data can be rerouted through alternative paths (WACS, MainOne, ACE).
- Hardware Monitoring: We use enterprise-grade NVMe storage and ECC RAM to prevent hardware-level failures that cause common downtime.
3. Scheduled vs. Unscheduled Maintenance
- Scheduled Maintenance: To keep our network at peak performance, we occasionally perform upgrades. We provide at least 24–48 hours notice via email and our "Network Status" page. This does not count against our SLA.
- Unscheduled Events: In the rare event of a sudden outage, our Network Operations Center (NOC) in Accra is alerted instantly to begin restoration.
4. Our Commitment to You
If we fail to meet our 99.9% network uptime guarantee in a given month, you may be eligible for service credits. We believe in accountability and transparency as we build the backbone of the African internet.
