How to Install WordPress via the CoLi Web Hosting Panel

The CoLi Web Hosting Panel includes a streamlined, 1-click WordPress installer. To get WordPress installed and configured automatically, please follow these steps:

1. Accessing Wordpress via the CoLi Panel  - Click on the "wordpress" icon

2. Word Press Install Button

- Click on install "WordPress"

3. Basic Information

• Domain Name: Type in your domain (e.g., yourdomain.com). Note: Make sure your domain name is actively registered and spelled correctly. Do not include http:// or www.

•  Site Title: Enter the name of your website.

•  Package & Owner: Select the available options(Default) from the dropdown menu. (Important: Do not leave it blank, or the installation will fail). 

4. Administrator Account

• Admin Username & Email: Enter the username and email address you want to use to log into your WordPress dashboard.

• Admin Password: Type a strong password, or click the green Generate button to create a secure one. Make sure to save this password somewhere safe!

5. WordPress Configuration & Updates

• WordPress Version: Click the dropdown and select the latest available version.

• Updates: You can leave Plugin and Theme updates set to "Enabled" for better automated security.

6. Additional Features & Deploy

• Additional Features (Optional): Before deploying, you have the option to toggle on Enable Apache Backend. This utilizes OpenLiteSpeed + Apache for enhanced compatibility, which can be useful for certain specific plugins or themes.

• Deploy: Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click the purple Deploy WordPress button.

The system will automatically create your database, harden the security, and install your free SSL certificate.
